What we do
Step 1 – Phone Conversation
This is a short 20 minute discussion to discuss what product you want to make your home a special place. Undercover Sewing is a workroom that provides window treatments, cushions and pillows. We will also share important contact information and the general time frame for your project.

Step 2 – Meet at Your Home or Business
The next step is a 1 – 2 hour consultation in the comfort of your own home to learn your style and to see the area for your new, custom treatment. Samples of materials and products will be available to help you with making decisions. Measurements and pictures will be taken during this visit. For the consultations in step 2 & 3 combined there is a $60 fee.
Step 3 – Meet at Undercover Sewing Workroom
Between steps 2 and 3 you will receive email information with pictures of the proposed project, and estimate of the cost. As needed samples of materials will be delivered to your home prior to meeting for step 3. Throughout all steps you are welcome to contact Undercover Sewing by phone or email with questions or feedback. An extensive fabric library is available and additional samples in my workroom to help with finalizing the details of your treatment. Cushions of various firmness and styles are you to try out to finalize cushion orders.
Step 4 – Finalizing the Project & Deposit
Once the design is finalized, you will be provided with a final cost estimate A detailed description of the treatment(s) will be provided for your signature to finalize the agreement and move into fabrication! A 50% deposit is required at this time.
Step 5 – Ordering & Fabrication
During this step, Undercover Sewing will be busy ordering the materials needed for your custom home treatment. Once all the materials have arrived, you will be notified of a tentative delivery week. You will be informed as the fabrication of your treatment progresses through email and phone calls.
Step 6 – Installation and the Grand Reveal!
The big day is here to install your custom treatment and create a special place for you and your family! We will schedule a day and time to install the treatments at your home! Prior to the installation you will be told an approximate length of time for the installation. Following the installation we will have a grand reveal and do a final check of all treatments! A professional photographer may be scheduled to take photographs of the treatment for Undercover Sewing’s website. A final invoice will be provided and the remainder of the fee is due at this time.
Step 7 – Feedback and Reviews
After completing the project, we will reach out to you for your written feedback. Undercover Sewing appreciates reviews written on Facebook Google Search, and/or the webpage.
